Mir, you are an information consuming machine! I like Isaacson's style and need to pick up his Leonardo book. I enjoyed his takes on Ben Franklin and Jobs, although he tends to lean into hero worship just a hair.
I noticed the hero worship problem in full force in his latest book on Musk. I found him quite critical of Jobs. I have yet to read Ben Franklin. BTW, really enjoying "The Man who Solved the Market". Thank you for recommending it to me.
I forgot how good that book was until you mentioned it! I think I'll skip the Musk book for now. I read a bio of him like 10 years ago that wasn't awful, but it didn't have enough about his dark side (his VERY prominent dark side, I might add).
